Just talking with a mech that works for me.... Here's a worst case scenario: If the gas in the cylinder washed the oil out, and subsequent cranking/running mueesed up the cylinder, the mech have had to re-ring the piston, or maybe even re-bore the cylinder. That might have taken a bunch of time. But he should still have an itemized list and summary of work perfromed, plus any old parts (like worn rings) to give back to you. What I don't understand is that if you ran it home, any oil washed out by the gas shouls have bben replenished.....
If I found my bike on prime, here's what I would do: 1- drain oil. 2- flush case with fresh oil (yeah it might cost a bit, but not 8 hours of labor.....). 3- pull plug. 4- Put a little oil in the plug hole (just in case the cylinder was washed dry). 5- put new plug in.
Let 'er rip and see how she does... I'd also probbaly accelerate the next couple oil changes to be safe.....
